Studio Linear Is a Supporting Partner of the Psychedelics Design Awards
There are a handful of moments each year where we come across something happening in the world that genuinely excites us — not because it's trendy, but because it feels like the right people are doing the right thing at the right time. The Psychedelics Design Awards is one of those things.
We're proud to share that Studio Linear is a supporting partner of the 2026 Psychedelics Design Awards — the world's first design competition dedicated to recognizing creative excellence in the psychedelic space.
What Are the Psychedelics Design Awards?
Now in their second year, the awards were created to celebrate the designers, artists, researchers, and innovators helping shape what is genuinely one of the most complex and culturally significant spaces in modern life. This isn't a niche vanity project — the jury includes the co-founder of Cool Hunting, the Creative Director of DoubleBlind Magazine, a former Design Director at Airbnb and WhatsApp, and researchers from Imperial College London, among others. The work being submitted and recognized here is serious, thoughtful, and often stunning.
There are eight judged categories: Architectural and Space, Art and Photography, Experimental, Educational and Community Impact, Audio and Music, Products and Services, Storytelling, and Visual Design and Branding. There's also a free public category called Mushroom of the Year, which is exactly what it sounds like — and we love it.
Submissions are evaluated on functionality, transformative potential, impact, empathy, thoughtfulness, innovation, and harmony. It's a framework that any good designer would recognize, applied to a space that genuinely needs more of it.

Why We Said Yes
At Studio Linear, we've always been drawn to work that sits at the edge of culture — brands and projects that are building something new rather than following a template. The psychedelic space is doing exactly that right now, and the design conversation around it is only getting more interesting. Supporting these awards felt like a natural fit.
